I. Tasks of trade management in quarter I/2011

- To work with enterprises and markets about the the work of serving Lunar New Year 2011 at localities in the province; to synthesize the situation of market prices before, during and after Lunar New Year 2011 and report to the provincial People’s Committee.

- To monitor the price fluctuations, especially the price of petrol and some essential goods to advise promptly; to propose the plan to stabilize the market in 2011 and submit to the provincial People’s Committee.

- To synthesize and propose the provincial People’s Committee to supplement the fuel plan (propose to supplement 16 surveyed points into the fuel plan 2010).

- To continue to implement the plans "Development of rural commerce in the period 2010-2015 and orientation till the year 2020"; "Plan on development of LPG trading establishments by 2015, and up to 2020."

- To report the result of checking the relocation, clearance of Vinh Tan (old) market; to monitor the implementation of pilot scheme of food safety at Bien Hoa market.

- To synthesize the report in 2010 on the activities of representative offices of foreign traders, sales promotion, trade fairs, multi-level sales; To complete the work of selecting "prestiged Vietnamese exporters  in 2010" for enterprises in the province; to implement the work of international economic cooperation in 2011.

II. Central tasks of trade management in quarter II/ 2011

- To coordinate with Customs Department, Board of Industrial Zone Management to collect data, analyze the situation of import and export and import surplus in the period 2006 - 2010 in the province of Dong Nai and propose solutions to boost export, reduce trade deficit for 2011 and subsequent years.

- To check and evaluate the supply - demand situation of items serving for production and life, first of all, essential commodities to meet production demand and consumption in the province; to coordinate with departments to make plan and submit to the provincial People’s Commitee plan to stabilize market prices of essential commodities in 2011.

- To continue to implement the plans "Development of rural commerce in the period 2010-2015 and orientation till the year 2020"; "Plan on development of LPG trading establishments by 2015, and up to 2020." (Translated by Hong Chau)
