- To Report the implementation result of plans (plan for the development of agriculture and fooddtuff processing industry, textile and leather shoes industry; and supporting industry); to make the project "Development of industrial small and medium enterprises in Dong Nai province in the period 2011-2015". (Surveying and collecting data at small and medium industrial enterprises in the province).
- To continue to monitor the implementation of infrastructure construction of Tan Hanh ceramic industrial cluster; to monitor the draft of policies and mechanisms to support for the relocation which is submited to the People’s Committee for consideration and submited to the People’s Council for approval in mid-session 2011.

- To implement Circular 02/2011/TT-BTC, dated on 28/01/2011 by Ministry of Industry and Trade, providing guidelines for implementation of Decree 119/2007/ND-CP of the Government dated on 18/7/2007 on production and trade tobacco; to report the development of cigarette raw material areas; to check the implementation of steel projects in the province.

- To implement Decision 86/2010/QD-TTg dated on 22/12/2010 of the Prime Minister on financial support for relocated polluters according to the urban construction planning.

II. Central tasks in quarter II/2011.

- To continue to monitor the implementation of infrastructure construction of industrial clusters; to implement specialized plans.

- To complete the draft of the project “Development of industrial small and medium enterprises”; to complete the draft "Resolution of mechanisms and policies to support for relocation of manufacturing facilities, businesses and services which cause pollution, facilities planned to relocate due to the urban and residential areas planning in the province of Dong Nai”, to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and submit to the People’s Council for approval.

- To preside and coordinate with departments and units under the Department of Industry and Trade to work with enterprises to solve proposals, difficulties and help businesses develop and stable their production.

- To research Decision 12/2011/QD-TTg dated 24/02/2011 by the Prime Minister on a number of policies to develop some supporting industries; to suppose specific projects to develop the supporting industry in the province. (Translated by Hong Chau)
