Gas contract signed for Nhon Trach 2 Power Plant

On April 6, at the Headquarters of the Vietnam National Petroleum Corporation (Hanoi), PetroVietnam Gas Corporation (PVGAS) and PetroVietnam Nhon Trach 2 Power Joint Stock Company (PVPowerNT2) signed sales contracts to supply gas for Power Plant in Nhon Trach 2.

Under the contract, PVGas will sell gas for PVPowerNT2 with daily gas volume of over 2.15 million cubic metres per day or 800 cubic metres per year. The duration of the contract is 25 years.

Nhon Trach 2 combined cycle power Plant belonging to Nhon Trach Power Central, with the main fuel used is gas, having total investment of 706 million USD. It is expected that single cycle will be completed in March 2011 and combined cycle in December 2011. (Translated by Hong Chau - SCT News)
